Why there is NO A/C cabin air filter on the 2011 Tahoe LTZ?

Someone at Chevy was in lala land when he decided to remove the A/C cabin filter from the 2011 Tahoe LTZ since all bad odors and gases are coming into the cabin with A/C on with recirculate button on.

I tooked it the dealer and he offered me to close a couple of openings with duct tape where the gases are coming into the cabin unfiltered... AMAZING lack of brains for this decision! Anyone has been affected by this ? How have you solve stopping these gases from coming in?

Also the recirculate button of the A/C has to be manually pressed every time the vehicle is started :flame:
