Why does my new 04 Z71 ride so stiff and not like my old LT?

I just bought an 04 z71 and I think the guy before me put some bigger tires on. Could someone please help me figure out if this is the problem?

My Tahoe rides too much like a truck. My old LT and LS were great. I always wanted the z71 and now I have it and don't know what to do.

Change the shocks out. BTW this is the 1994-1999 part of the forum. Z71's ride rougher because they are "off road" so to speak, also what kind of tires? Passenger on the old ones, 10 plys on the new one?
