where to snake through firewall

I'm having trouble snaking a wire for my remote radar detector through the firewall of my 2007 Yukon. There is a plug high on the driver side, but I can't seem to get through. Can anyone help? many thx.

I dont know where one is located but follow one of the wiring harnesses through and you will find a rubber gramet that you can use to punch through. You might have to use a wire hanger to push in / tape on wire then pull out.

I've already removed the grommet, but all I hit is metal a few inches in-Any other ideas?
