I have a White 97 Tahoe 4dr 4wd with 76000 miles on it. i want to put the biggest tires without them rubbing and i can decide between 17 or 18 inch wheels. some of the tire sizes im debating between are 285/65/18, 285/70/17
the wheels i am getting are 17 or 18 by 9 flat black Procomp series 7089. if any one has these rims on their tahoe or has an oppinion about which will fit and look best i would greatly appreciate it. thanks

Give this web page a try: www.rims-n-tires.com

If you enter your vehicle information, it will give you information like "Tires up to..." and "Rims up to ..."

Hope this helps.

2007 Stock tire question

The rubber on my 20" wheels (305/50/20)is shot and I need to get something to finish out this winter weather. I can get a stock set of tires from a 2007 Tahoe fairly cheap (Bridgestone Duellers, 275/55/20) but none of the tire guys I have talked want to commit to if they will fit since my OEM ratings do not show the 275/55. Is anyone aware of any significant chassis changes on the new generation that would prevent me from bolting these on?
