What temp does your Hoe run?

Normal driving that is... I'm in Dallas, and it's been 100F+ here. I've noticed that no matter how hot it gets outside my engine warms up to and runs at about 210F. Even if it's cool outside, it's 210F.

Is this normal running temp for the 5.8L?

I'm the second owner of this 2004 (since Nov 2007) and I don't know that the radiator fluid has ever been flushed & replaced. But if it's normal for everyone else I guess it's working fine.

Mine always sits dead center, trans is usually a 1/3 of the way up. The cooling systems in these trucks are pretty efficient.

but yes. My 06 ran at 210 whether it was 120 and i had Ac at 60 and on high, or -15 and i had heat at 90 and on high. 210 is where it stayed.

my 07 is to a T exactly the same. 210 right on the nose. I have not towed with this one yet, but the 06 temp would climb about one dash when towing my boat, but never much more than that. :thumbsup:

The truck runs fine, it's just hotter than hell here. Just needed some confirmation.

Mine runs just a little cooler than 210. I havent really paid any attention the the gauge but Id guess 190. Could just be that my gauge is alittle off.

Mine runs steady around 195* all day in traffic with the a/c on, and the temps here in Austin have been around 100* the past few weeks also.

Mine runs just under 210°, too. Even sitting in traffic with the AC crankin'.

i would not worry about your temp enless it was over 210 for extended periods of time, it may go over every once and while, but if it goes back, no big deal. little under, even better.

Running 210F no matter if it's 45F or 95F.
