what shocks for my z71 hoe

i am debating on which shocks to get for my truck. I have been looking at the Rancho rs9000xl with wireless remote. I am going to put ford keys in the front end and 3/4 inch coil spacers in the back with these shocks. I currently ride on 33inch nittos terra graplers stock with keys maxed out which clear well (no rubbing). If i put the keys and spacers in what lenght shocks do i need? Will these shocks ride soft on the road, I nevergo off road allways hwy. If not the rancho which shocks? Want a soft comfortable ride. Does anyone have any suggestions my ears are open.



(Another thing I put in a volant cool air intake with a throttle body spacer and saw a 5 mpg increase before the 33's.)

Bilstein 5100s, ranchos are good but the controller is overrated.

what size shocks do i need to get if its stock and what size if I put the keyways in with the 3/4 inch coil spacer?

awesome, I have an 04 z71 and it rides like total sh*t. I am not sure if its the z71 suspension or is the shocks are totally kaput.... either way i want a new suspension because my whip rides like an $8 whore at 4am and I dont do any off-roading, the only reason I got the z71 is because I need 4wd (snowboarder) and it had ALL the options i wanted.

Please keep me posted on what you do here because i am very interested in getting my 'hoe into a better/smoother ride

no problem i will keep you updated. never really kept a truck this close to the ground before. last tahoe was 99 2dr on 20inch foose spack 6 w/ 38 mudgrapplers with about 11 inches of lift it was sick and i miss that truck. Had custom exahust headerst to tipps. 4:88 gears, 5% over 5% tint and sick stereo it was a fun toy would go through anything and pull anything out. Anyway I'm about to put Bosh platinum IR Fusion plugs with 8.5mm msd wires, put a 3/4 coil spacers in rear with the keyways in front. Going to purchase the Billstien 5100's For these tahoes with the torsion key and coil spacer kit you will need to get Front: BE5-C153-HO Rear: BE5-D147-HO and from what i gather it will ride soft and smooth about 1.5 inches higher than stock. Also have the volant coolairintake with a throttle body spacer from Street & Performance Electronics and the power and fuel improvement was awsome. Eventually i want to get a hypertech hyperpac and put a suttle exahust maybe a catback nothing fancy want it sound good but not load i'm done with all that loud ****. all about saving gas now
