I just bought a 2015 yukon xl. You cannot order one with better than 4 ply tires. So i am planning to put new tires and rims on it and save the stock tires and rims for when i trade it back in a few years.
Anyways i am trying to find out the stock offset so i don't buy rims that stick out to far or rub on the wheel well. It came with 18 x 9 Rims
Anyone know where to find this info?

Very cool and informative chart. Thanks! While I do like my GMC dealer his head of service always acts like its suce a problem to do things like that I thought I would try elsewhere. I guess I will try him. Thanks though I learned a bunch from your link.

31mm. The best you will find in readily-available aftermarket wheels is 25mm. Get 25mm positive-offset wheels, nothing less. If you go with lower offset wheels, expect tire rub, reduced fuel economy, exessive tire wear, and eventual damage to your drivetrain if you have 4wd. DO NOT assume that a tire/wheel shop will know this and sell you the appropriate offset wheel. Do your research before you buy. I learned the hard way.
