What is normal highway cruising mileage?

I have a 2004 Z71 Tahoe which according to the instrument cluster display averages only around 16.5 MPG on steady highway driving. This is achieved after say a trip of all interstate driving of 200 miles with average speed of 65-70 mph.

Does this seem reasonable? I would have hoped for a bit more on pure highway driving. It's all stock with 80k miles on odometer.

Seems like ****ty mileage to me,sorry. I think that's what my father in law gets in his burban iirc

Does it have the 6.0? my 01 with 5.3 gets atleast 18 maybe 19 on straight highway. 14 to 16 around town depending on the driver.

I get 16.6 on a steady ride up north and 17.5 on the way home. 5.3L with 20's and a BB tune.
