Well, thanks folks....I took the advice from here

and bought and had installed the Magnaflow 15666 cat back system today. Got it from Performance Peddler for $408 shipped to my mechanic. I gave him $100 to hang it for me.

I love the sound. Just enough rumble to know it's a V8 but no drone at highway speeds. Great looking too.....all that stainless steel with a great exhaust tip. I love this place!

Awesome. It's always great to hear feedback that this forum helps out alot. Aside from the sound, have you noticed any other improvements, such as improved throttle response, etc?

It seems to have a quicker throttle tip-in but that could just be the ol' "butt-dyno" out of calibration. Overall it seems peppier. I took it for a quick long run out to PA yesterday and the nice part was no droning. Just a low rumble that isn't really noticeable until you get in to the throttle a bit. Now I want to get a K&N intake to complete the loop!

I was also extremely impressed with the quality of the Magnaflow pieces. They fit like a glove and tuck away out of site, leaving only the tip exposed.
