OK guys put your comments together. I noticed a musty smell in my Yukon now that the weather is warming up. I have barn doors on my yukon, I noticed the carpet was damp on the righr side. about 10" in diameter, the pad was wet also. I lifted the carpet up partially but I need a torque screw to remove the tie down hook. The carpet is damp just to the left of the tie down. I'm guessin its not coming from there because the carpet is only damp to the left of the bolt. Im not sure where the water is coming from. Anyone out there experience this problem.

When I had my 99 Yukon, barn doors, I had the identical problem and found out that GMC had put out a recall on my unit w/barn door in order to replace the entire seal. Apparently there was leak problem on some units and I was one, sounds like you have the same issue, sorry to hear.

There is a chance that I thought it was a recall and was not. I'm not 100% sure but something clicks that it might have been. It's been a good 9-10 years since this took place.

I seem to remember a problem with the seam on the top of the door wasn't channeling the water down the sides correctly and it was intruding. I had to have the carpet and padding all replaced.
