Hi everyone. I purchased a 2007 Tahoe LTZ recently. I love the vehicle and am amazed at the features that were packed into this thing. However, as I was going through the vehicle in detail once I got home I noticed that there is a wire that was hanging that is just cut. I am inserting the image here. The red X is where it is cut. Everything works. I have no errors in the ECM but I cannot figure out what this wire went to. Does anyone else recognize what that wire should go to. What stands out to me is the fuse in line on it.

If anyone has anything that might help me identify this wire's purpose, I would really appreciate it.

Dont worry about it see where it leads up to the other connector disconnect it from there and trash it that is a jumper lead that was one of a few attempts in recalls to prevent the windshield washer heater unit from catching on fire in thee end GM just had a final recall to eliminate it all together

Thank you for the response. That does make sense since I couldn't find anything that I was aware of that was not working. I even checked a friend of mine's Tahoe and didn't even see that wire in there (it was a 2010 LTZ). So, I feel a lot better about it now. Thanks again!

De nada.. yea you wouldn't find it on a 2010 because they only put the heater washers on 2007 and it was a bust so they stopped on that year
