I have a 04 Z71. I had a Service 4WD light come on. Got underneath and discovered that the wiring harness from the actuator motor had come loose and laid against the drive shaft while in 4WD mode and proceeded to wear completely through all the wires. Replaced the transfer case actuator and still have the Service 4WD alert, but added to my issues, now no matter what gear the transmission has selected, its acting like its in neutral. Anyone have any ideas?
