hi im having issues with a 2010 tahoe i own
from day one everything underneath truck sounds noiser than it should be (ive owned 1 suburban 2yukons a range rover and now tahoe )anyway what i mean by noisy is strangely for starters when i turn my ignition key to #2 position rite before cranking motor i hear a series of clicks as if something engaging which it obviously is , but why so noisy when doing it 2 shifting in and out of gears with foot on brake pedal noisy as hell lots of clicks ,clunks and gears engaging noise ,3 the most important one beimg that winter on its way , when i put it into 4wd low gear sometimes it smacks into gear if this describe it good, it very rough going into low gear but not just rough ehich is somewhat expected if i remember correctly but it also super noisy (sometimes tho) and the other problem is once in 4wd lo gear if i gas it it feel as if it not moving or jumping as much as it should for the amount of gas i giving it ???i know 4 wheel low gear not for speed but more so controlled torques but it seem as if it not getting the full amount of torque?????my question isnt what to check as much as what does any1 think in terms of trauma this truck could have suffered to cause these issues i described ????i the second owner but bought the truck 8 months after originial owner bought it and when i got it ,it only had 11000 miles on it soo wtf??? could have caused so many problems ?,what can this guy before have done to dammage the parts i mentioned ? also just to give u a better idea of what the truck does once on lift if i spin wheels with hand while truck in park they move almost a quarter rotation before lock u know the little play wheels\drivetrain have when parked and then after it reaches the stop point or if i jerk wheels while in park and on lift it makes a clack clack noise everytime i go from one direction to the other rear wheels this is btw
I PAID 41000$ AND DEALERS HAVE HELPED ME NONE AND SO I SUPER STRESSED AND ANGRY OVER HAVING A HALF ASS GREAT TRUCK LOL ANY HELP APPRECUIATED :help::help::help::help::help:
