Transfer Case 4 X 4 Indicator Switch

Hello all
I have a 96 tahoe 4dr 5.7 I can't get the indicator light to come on in 4H or
4L. I just replaced the 4x4 acuator which was bad and it seem to be working fine but no lights would that mean Transfer Case 4 X 4 Indicator Switch is bad is that is only function?

Is this push button 4x4? How about the module on the steering column for the 4wd?

it's a manual floor shifter
