today driving on the interstate, my traction control light began to blink off and on for a while, then it stopped. Any idea why this might be happening?
By any chance did you also notice whether or not your A.B.S. light flashed too. If so it could be related.
If that is the case I would almost 100% say that you have a speed sensor in the rear going out. Or a lot of bhild up on one of the tone rings in the rear.
Or it could have been slippery out and one wheels lost traction.
Nah it was dry, and the first thing i looked for was the ABS flashing, and it never did come on. When I mean flashing/blinking, i mean just that. I dont mean how the traction control light comes on when you actually are sliding in mud, gravel, whatever.
Its unknown to me whether or not a Tech2 would be able to scan that traction control system, If it does persist, you might have to go that way, as I highly doubt Vatozone, Advance or any other chain stores can pull the code, provided there is one.
