Ok so I posted a question awhile ago on another forum most people seemed to think it was a TPS problem. Sometimes when I am driving and accelerating from a dead stop and the vehicle shifts into 2nd gear the throttle goes dead and then after a few seconds its back to full power and the vehicle takes off. When it usually does this there is no lights coming on on the dash. Well Yesterday when driving around in all the rain we have had the vehicle did this a lot more often and when it did I was get a Traction Activated notice on the center gauge cluster. It felt the same as when it happens on dry pavement. So any suggestions? The vehicle is a 03 Yukon that is All Wheel drive with stabila trak. Thanks in advance!

When gunning it from 1st to 2nd there is a major lag in 2nd gear from 2k-3k RPMs. I was just guessing its the way the transmission/gears are setup?

I don't get the traction activated thing cuz I'm not AWD.

You need to check your 2 front wheel bearings, jack them up and take a look at them. The speed sensor is in there and you have a problem with one of them. Check the passenger side first. you can unscrew the sensor and check and see if there is any metal sticking to it. That will tell you that you need to replace that side or not. They are sealed unit and the cheapest at autozone.
