Towing brake controller adapter

So I just picked up my 05 LT today, loaded with all the good stuff, loving it. I need to add a brake controller, the truck is factory wired and has the towing package. The owners manual indicates that the adapter that plugs into the fuse block should have an inline fuse.

The adapter was not in the truck, I found this at etrailer, but it does not look like it has an inline fuse. http://www.etrailer.com/p-20264.htm

Does anyone know if they do in fact need or have this fuse?

It appears from the picture that it does have an in-line fuse. Based on my personal experience etrailer is an excellent vendor to deal with. Give them a call to confirm.

I bought the pig tail from Etrailer and it worked fine. No inline fuse in mine. If you want, you can always cut the hot and install one...
