first i was thinking about having them powder coated a lo gloss, almost matte black. any thoughts? center caps and all. i was also thinking about doing that to the ltz rims; however, i kind of like mine the more i think about it.

also i would like to get some nice all season tires, any recommendations? i've spent time scouring tire rack; however, i haven't narrowed my choices down low enough.

I've been doing a lot of tire research lately. If i decide on all season tires I'll either go Goodyear Fortera TripleTread or Michelin LTX tires. Both are good tires.

Posted this before, but here's stock 17s from a Yukon that i powdercoated, with BGF All-Terrains...

I wanted to do a matte black too, but they guys at the shop said that the REALLY matte blacks would have a higher chance to orange peel, and wouldn't be as durable as an exterior coat. I went with like a 7% gloss, so if still pretty flat, but no orangle peel and no chips/scratches (so far :shhh:)

BTW, the caps on these wheels were plastic, so they would melt if you powdercoat them... took a while to find the right mix of semi-gloss and flat black spraypaint to get them to match.
