Tire size question

Stupid question here. Will 235/70r16 tires fit on stock rims for a 98 Tahoe? The current tire size on the rims are 245/75r16.

someone else correct me if im wrong.. but im pretty sure they'd be smaller than the ones on there now...

TahoeGoBoom...You are correct sir. A 235/70/r16 is going to smaller than the 245/75/r16. It is going to be neither as wide nor as tall...but will fit the stock 16 inch rim with no difficulty.
