tire size/gear ratio

I'll soon be trading my 07 Z71 for a 2010 Z71 and wanted to swap my
wheels and tires on the 2010. I'm running BFG 305/65R17 all terrains on
17 x 8 Ultra wheels. I noticed the gear ratio on the 2010 is 3:08. Would it
be ok to run the 305's.? I think the gear ratio on the 07 is 3:42.
Would appreciate any help.

Doesn't the 2010 have a 6 speed auto?? Probably works out to be the same as a 3.42 or 3.73.
