Alright....what is the trick to installing my distributor on my '97 tahoe 5.7 vortec. I have done it twice before (replaced head gaskets, and instake manifold gaskets), and am assuming that I have just been lucky before. I set the balancer timing mark on the timing cover mark and install the distributor (cover off) so that the rotor points at the pointer on the distributor housing when seated and installed. I then install the distributor cover and all the peripherals, and it doesn't start. Any help?
