Time To Oil My K&N Filter?

Well i just bought the truck and im kinda thinking since i dont know when the last time someone cleaned and re oiled the filter maybe i should just do it anyway but what do yall think??

you should take that one off and get the AEM Brute Force, you dont ever have to oil it. thats what i would do. an oil-free filter just relieves me of doing one more thing to my truck for service. just got mine for under $250 shipped to my door. putting it on tomorrow. but good deal with getting a tahoe with a CAI already installed.

yea but then u got to buy a new filter every once in a while, i dont mind oiling it, and i really like the sound of it think ill do it this weekend, i have heard them aem brute force are good also

I just re-oiled mine. its bright-ish red. you need a re oil pretty bad. you will notice a performance increase too....:yesnod:

lol yea i was kinda worried when they oiled it last not really red at all, how often do you re oil yours?

its hella sunny here today so sorry for the glare

looks much better, havent got to test it out yet im bout to though, it was hella dirty
