Just remember, the Envoy and Trailblazer are going to get the axe soon as the new GMC Acadia and their respective rebadges (Buick Enclave, Saturn Outlook)are going to be the main downsized rig. But the GMC Acadia has a longer wheelbase than a Yukon/Tahoe or is it overall length, can't remember. Chevy will soon get their own "Acadia" model someday, or so I read.

The new Saturn Vue with High Feature 3.6 litre is a nice ride, in laws may get one and it's still GM.

I do like the SS Trailblazer too though.

Now I have to find the leak in my Yukon, on the floorboard, nice big puddle. Nice!

Good luck with your choice. A lot of good rigs out there.

My wife and I also were thinking of trading our beautiful 02 Yukon in on either a new Tahoe/Yukon or an Acadia. We nixed the Acadia idea after we realized that the reason we got the Yukon 4x4 was to go off roading on forest roads. We enjoy that alot! The Acadia obviously will not go where our Yukon 4x4 does. And then we also realized that it would not be realistic to trade our Yukon that only has about 36,000 miles on it and looks like new on a new one costing about $40,000. So we went out and detailed our Yukon. My wife got out her carpet shampoo machine with the upolstery attachments and shampooed the cloth seats, carpets, and floormats. Then I washed and waxed the vehicle. We saved alot of money!!

Haha, it'd be great if that's all I needed to do.

From my previous experience owning GMs (77 Corvette, 88 Blazer S10, 91 Grand Am, 93 88LSS, 98 Silverado) I figure in the next year or so, my maintenance list will be:

- Rear brakes, rotors, possibly a caliper or two
- water pump
- power steering pump
- alternator

The list was different for every vehicle I owned previously. But the beauty of all of it was that I did most of the work myself.

Except the brakes on the Vette. Man, I hate doing brake work.

I'm definitely going shopping on Saturday, but will probably quickly make the decision whether to keep the hoe or not. I'm slightly leaning towards keeping, but it doesn't hurt to look around ;)
