thhoe problems

I have a 99 tahoe it shows a check engine light and I have a scanner but the scanner wont aknowledge the the tahoe being hooked up....HELP,Thanks,Mark

anytime thats happend with me, its bc of a blown fuse in your fuse box. all have to be good fuses to make a good link with of your scanner.
