tears in the dashboard anyone now how to fix??

hey everyone im new to this site. but i have a 2002 tahoe and on the passenger side where the handle in the front of you is tearing and its black underneath it looks really bad and i was wondering if anyone knew how to fix it with some kind of paint or something?? thanks

Try to upload some photos. There are guys in this forum that are fabricating their own consoles, and they might have the right solution for you.
