I was rear ended May 08 by a Toyota Corolla. My 08 Hoe sustained minor damage to bumper and trailer hitch. Toyota not so lucky. Front end totaled. Driver of Toyota was extremely surprised when he observed the damage to his vehicle compared to the minor damage of my Hoe that he struck. The responding police officer committed to me about the quality built of the Chevrolet Tahoe.

The cars like the Corolla are cheaper built cars and yes lighter to save fuel, but you pay for all that fuel savings when you have an accident. You can't put a price on safety. I will always choose a tank to drive, especially in California where people pass you on the freeway doing over 90 or they drive like absolute morons.
