Swapping motors

I have a 1995 extended cab truck with a automatic/454motor and want to swap it into my 1995 chevy Tahoe. Was wondering if it's just a simple mechanical swap/change out of computer or what others things I need to consider.

I cannot help you there, I have never put a big block in small block truck. Sorry, maybe one of the other forum members has had some experience with this.

I did some checking for my 98, I too thought about this swap. I know that in my year the computer is the same, but needed the harness for the 454. Hope this helps a little.
