I Have An 02 Yukon W/ The 5.3l. I Purchased A Superchip Programmer, Registered It Online, And Tried To Prog. Programmer Said Not Stk Program. Took To A Shop I Work With Who Can Reflash Gm's. He Said It Has The Stk Prog That Should Be In It. He Erased And Reprogrammed Anyway And Still The Same. He Was In Contact W/ Superchips Regarding This. Has Any One Ever Had This Happen??

was it brand new, or used?

Something similar happened with my hypertech when we tried to use it on two different trucks. I programmed mine and then tried to progam my buddy's truck. We got a similar message to yours. I had to progam mine back to stock before the programmer would work on his. If your programmer is used, and the previous owner didn't program their vehicle back to stock with it, you may be in for some trouble. Hopefully yours is brand new and there is some warranty/replacement coverage.

Good luck.:confused2:

I've never done a custom tune, but all the guys on another forum I check out swear my Nelson. http://www.nelsonperformance.com/ You tell him the specifics of your ride, wheel size, any other mods, and he programs a pcm for your specific ride, not a generic vehicle. He sends you the new one, you send him your old one so there is no down time. He gives lifetime upgrades if you change something on your truck. They say it's about the same price as a hand held tuner. They also tell me he can tune for performance or economy.
