Super Noob Here....need Help!!!

What's up all? Just joined the forum and see a lot of you really know your stuff. I am getting a new 2008 Tahoe LS in 2 weeks and really want to get some mods going quickly, however, I know NOTHING!!!

That being said, I have some questions that might seem very naive (so I guess I'm in the right place to learn, right?)

RIMS
I'm getting a black Tahoe and want to put some black rims on it. I'd like to get 24's, but don't want trouble with them rubbing. Any suggestions? What is the best tire size ???

DROPS
What drop works best with what I'm getting? 2/3 or 3/5 ???
What can I expect to pay for this???


EXHAUST
What is the purpose of all the exhaust systems? Air intake?
This is like a foreign language to me.
What can I expect to pay for this?

I also want to get black bowties and blacked out taillights.
What can I expect to pay for this?
Also, I live in Houston, TX so if anyone here knows a good place to go to get these mods done I'd appreciate it.

You sound like you want to spend some money for mods, I was just wondering why you are starting with a base model, as at least with an LT2 yo uget some good features and options that I bet down the road you will wish you had, just a thought. My LT2 has adjustable pedals and other good features.

I agree with LTG, I wouldn't go any lower than a LT2 or LT3. You're going to wish you had those features down the road.

To be honest, I'm really just going for a sweet exterior look. I will only be putting about 20 miles a day on it.
