Anyone else out there experiencing the steering slip and if you know of a solution?

Replace steering position (EVO) sensor.

NO! the evo sensor is probably not the cause of your problem. the Steering Speed Sensor is most likely the issue. part costs about $30 and it is located under the dash on the steering column. one bolt and one gm plug, 20 minute install.
