Welcome to the neighborhood,

I personally do not have one and honestly, I know little about audio overall. But we have members that know more and will chime in.

Im currently using the JL Audio Stealth boxes in both of my vehicles. The particular unit in our 09 Tahoe is the JL 2-10W1V2 set up running off a JL 250/1 amp. For the 07-Up, you have two options of stealthbox.

1- Two 10 inch subs that mount in the rear drivers cargo panel area.

2- Center console 1-10 inch sub.

I was lucky enough to hear both units prior to my purchase. While I opted for the rear unit with 2 subs, I have no where near the amount of power that would really push these subs. Currently this is the daily driver for my wife and is a little more mild with her music than I am. My reasoning behind this is that in the near future she will finally get her convertible and this will become my daily.

dual sub in drivers rear - http://www.jlaudio.com/product/5421...hoe,_GMC_Yukon_&_Cadillac_Escalade_'07-Up

While I prefer the JL brand, they are very proud of their products. But for me, when it comes to quality/reliability/longevity, I will pay the extra cash to be happy with the results the first time. Hopes this helps and if you have any other questions, feel free to contact me.

Hey, I personally have had a few different subs, amps and enclosures. But, of all the subs and amps. JL has the best quality of the ones I have heard. I am not sure the type of music you listen to, but I love rock and personally love the way a few 8 or 10 in subs sound. The box is a very important part of the decision... but deciding which box you want should come after you decide what size sub you want. Look at the amount of space the box's say you can get for your vehicle and look at the subs smaller than that. When you find a sub that you like, then try to find the best box for it. BUT, if you can't find a box you like... that is not the end of the world, it is pretty cheap to have them custom made. They are not complicated to make and you could make one in your back yard if you have the proper tools (My friend made 2 as a high school project). One box which was ported, so it has holes in the box for better air flow. The other was not which is best when you have lots more space.

I hope this helps. I can't really speak for subs and box's for tahoes as I have never heard a system which is in one.

I like the idea of having a larger sub under the center console, but everywhere I look for a Denali sub I get the same thing...

Will not fit Chevrolet SSR, GMC Sierra Denali, GMC Yukon Denali, GMC Yukon XL Denali, Cadillac Escalade, Cadillac Escalade ESV, Cadillac Escalade EXT, Hummer H2, Hummer H2 SUT.

That is from here: http://www.jlaudio.com/product/5421...l-Size_SUV’s_'03-'06_and_Trucks_'03-'07

But good find/info, I would love to try this box, being sealed and firing down into the floor, I am sure you would feel it enough for my personal taste. I just want a hair more than stock when I do ours, but I may try to get the dimensions and build a look alike.

I would jump on that and install it while the wife is at work and she wouldn't know until she heard me turn it up in the street...lol

If you do NOT have power lift gate, cant run the rear JL box. We have done a lot of the center console with jl amp 300/1 sounds pretty good...

Fiberglass box

I had made a custom fiberglass box that can hold a 10" L5 kicker. It fits perfect behind the panel. I'm willing to let go for the right price. Pm me and we can talk.
