Guys, my traction control/stabilty light comes on when I turn, even if it is like 3 mph. It also sounds like something banging around my brakes? anyone experience this or know what it is?

You should try taking it in to the dealer for service, it could be something that was messed up when you lowered it or just a random problem

Sounds like it's related to the lowering of the truck. Be assertive with them though because you know they'll try to tell you your modification cancels out the warranty on something like that.

Hello. New to this forum.
Have an '07 Avalanche with the very same problem and not lowered.
Traction control/Stability light comes on when turning at low speeds along with the pulsating of brakes (abs?).
Did your dealer figure out the problem?

Thanks

I have the same issue with my brakes while turning at lower speeds, also have an issue with the door locks and window locking for the passenger side, I plan to report these issues when I take it in, along with alot of other issues (rear defroster connection came off, passenger seat belt light stays on, rear window hockey sticks, trans shifting hard, etc) sheesh....the service guy is going to hate me.

Had 3 responses on the Avalanche forum all claiming it to be the wheel speed sensor. Will go to dealer next week and post my results ASAP.

I'll take a stab at it, control module. I had a similar problem, the only difference was my door locks would lock and unlock and lites would flicker along with the pulsating ABS. I had the control module replaced under warranty.

Problem Solved after 2 additional visits to dealer. It was the (EBCM) Electronic Brake Control Module which was out of calibration.
All is well and perfect after 1 week.
Thanks.
