Today morning in my way to work, the Stabilitrack light turned on and got a "Stabilitrack off" message, then I got a "check brake system" message afterwards. Whats wrong with the car??? .. I really hope its not a severe problem!! .. anyone got the same message before???

My truck is a 2007 GMC Denali.

ABout a week ago, I heard a chime similar to the seatbelt chime, then got the messgaes in the following order:
"Stabilitrack Off"
"Traction Control Off"
"Service Stabilitrack"
"Service Traction Control"
Also the engine power reduced light was on.
Since then, It come on every 2 or 3 minutes, cycles the above messages, then shuts off for a few minutes. the engine power reduced light stays on.
Anybody have this problem other than BlackDenali that knows the problem. I will take it to the dealer sometime next week.

Also, I am using Edge Evolution, and thought it was a problem with that so I put it back into stock mode, but it still came up every 2 or 3 minutes, and the same in Extreme mode.

I had those messages come up last week after I jump-started my Denali. I found this in the owner's manual:

"If the system fails to turn on or activate, the StabiliTrak® light along with one of the following messages will be displayed on the Driver Information Center (DIC) (TRACTION CONTROL OFF, SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL, STABILITRAK OFF, SERVICE STABILITRAK).

If these DIC messages appear, make sure the StabiliTrack® system has not been turned off, then turn the steering wheel clockwise from the nine o’clock positions to the three o'clock position. If this does not clear the messages(s), then turn the vehicle off, wait 15 seconds, and then turn it back on again to reset the system."

Of course, if the system doesn't reset by then, you have to take it to the dealer to get them to check it out.
