Hello all,
I ran a search for my question but didnt really get answered.
I just bought a used 05 Yukon SLT 51xxx miles. After two weeks, today I noticed that I was cruising at what felt like 45 and the speedo was reading 75. So I pulled over and it read 30. I turned off and on the Yukon and nothing. Then drove for a bit and stopped. Anyways it got fixed only by me turning it off and on many times. It seems that the movement of the engine when you turn it on was little by little making the speedo go down until eventually reaching 0.
I saw that some have had problems with the cluster, could this be that too? The other gauges were normal. How does the speedo work? Electrical?
If it is the cluster, do you guys think the GM dealer would cover that even though I bought it elsewhere?
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
