Spare Tire Mount??????

99 Tahoe LT 4x4 (old body style)

The cable on my underbody spare tire carrier snapped, leaving my tire on ther ground. (Thank god I was backing out of a driveway and not going down the expressway) Problem is, I cannot find one anywhere. I must admit, I haven't tried the dealer, but was hoping I could find a better (cheaper) source that could ship it to me. I'd like to go new, so I've avoided the junkyards too. Any insight would be great!! Thanks

Yeah, probably a dealer only part if you don't want to go with used. I wish mine had the underbody spare carrier. My spare is mounted in the back (2 door).
