Hello all,
I currently drive a 1997 Audi A4 1.8TQ modded all to hell :cool2: . I am in college and owning a modded Audi attracts a LOT of unwanted attention (getting keyed, etc). I also cannot take care of my baby like I was able to before I went of to college. Being an 11 year old car, maintenence is becomming unaffordable and I don't have the time/space to work on it- so I decided it was time to let her go.
I will soon take delivery of my uncles 2002 (if I remember correctly) Yukon fully loaded. I'm looking forward to all the space the Yukon has and it will be a better all-around college car for me. It is White/Tan leather and has around 140k miles.
As far as modding it, I am looking to bump up the power a bit because I'm used to a quick car haha. I dont really care about the exterior because I love the stock looks of the Yukon. I may throw on some 20" OEM Chevy 5 spokes that come on the '07 Silverados-- Is the bolt pattern the same? What about offset? What is out there as far as tuning/ECU flashes/chipping? I've read the thread on CAI kits and that had some good information. The truck already has dual exhaust so I dont have to worry about that.
Are there any maintenence issues with these trucks with high mileage? Anything I should look out for once I get the truck?
Thanks for looking and I will post up pictures once I recieve the truck.
Here are pictures of my baby:
ECU chip ~ spiking at 22psi of boost
Custom front mount intercooler
Borla Exhaust with off-road cat delete
Full Bilstien/Eibach suspension
18" OE Audi wheels (silver) / 17" StilAuto wheels (black)
20% tint
S4 front bumper
European spec projector headlamps with 8000k HIDs
And a bunch of other goodies
Oh, and she is for sale if you or someone you know is interested!
