JUST REPLACED THE MICKEY THOMPSON MTX'S WITH SAME SIZED MASTERCRAFT COURSER C/T's (285/75/16). THEY RIDE GOOD FOR A TRUCK TIRE. SLIGHT RUMBLE BELOW 10MPH & A LITTLE WHIRL NOISE WHILE DRIVING BUT YOU GOTTA LOVE THAT IN A MEATY TIRE. WANTED THE CHUNKY LOOK BUT'LL NEVER GO OFF ROAD. DON'T WANT TO GET HER DRESS DIRTY, LOL. I RECOMMEND THEM. PUT THE FIRE & ICE LED TAILGATE BAR ON THE BACK LAST YEAR. ON THE THIRD ONE NOW. ONLY COMPLAINT IS THE TAILLIGHTS ARE SO BRIGHT IT'S HARD TO NOTICE THE BLINKERS/BRAKE LIGHTS. FIRST ONE TAILLIGHTS BURNT OUT, 2ND ONE MELTED? WHERE THE HARNESS GOES INTO THE LIGHT, GLAD NO BURN MARKS ON THE PAINT. LIFETIME WARRANTY SO F-IT, I'LL JUST KEEP REPLACING THEM. HID CONVERSION KIT IS COOL, SOME FLICKER/INOP IF YOU TURN THEM ON TOO FAST. MAYBE DUE TO THE USED IGNITERS, REPLACE EM WHEN NEEDED, UNTIL THEN OFF & BACK ON WORKS FINE. NOW I'M JUST LOOKIN FOR A LOUD ASS HORN (CLOSE TO TRAIN SOUND MINUS PRICE).

Please turn your caps lock off, it feels like you're yelling at us.:(

If you are looking for a loud horn, check with JC Whitney. I haven't seen one of their catalogs for a few years, but they used to have a decent selection of horns.

the flicker is bad connection for HID harness. alot of times you can use electrical tape to wrap around the ballast and make sure if your balast has a bracket that its grounded. ive seen some HID ballasts spark when you turn them on because of bad connections.

You really made me scared. I am using hid lights and some of my friend told me they could blaast due to extensive heating. i think I need to change them now:peace::peace:

didnt mean to scare anyone, i was just stating from experience and as long as theres no flammable gas leak or fumes in the area that the spark happens you should be ok its just something to be aware of. :waytogo: i have hids on my tahoe and my lights turn on automatically when its dark, and when i release the E brake. one side kind of lags turning on but they turn on every time.
