Tahoe 02mod, 5.3LT
Had the car on a lift buck today to do some chores. Oil Change etc. Went over suspension, to find some work.
But what worries me confidence is that when I take hold of the wheel behind, I can move the wheel in and out. Can benefit the entire shaft / out of the clock. Is an approximately 3-4mm movement. Is equal on both sides behind, but think it is a little more on the right side.
Have not loosened brake caliper to see if there are more moving. The movement now seems to be stopped by that it takes in the brake caliper. Have taken off the rim, to when can I move Flares until it stops in the brake disc.
Having googled this to set some video clips on Youtube, it seems that there is a C-clippers that hold the shaft in place. is also a powerful splint, but this is not through the shaft.
Anybody who has been involved in this my problem?
Is there any wear parts to swap to get rid of slack?
Sorry poor English. I live in Norway. Have used Google Translate.
