they make a lot of noise. its a really loud thumping as it goes across the entire range. its not the blades hopping, its almost like the arms stick. i replaced the motor a few months ago, and it did it before and still does. any other ideas?

hmmm... mechanical thumping sound? I assume they worked great after you replaced the motor last time?
man, is it missing teeth on the gear that meshes with the worm gear? or is it more like, pulsing current making them thump along?

well i guess id have to go listen to it again. the wipers go across smooth and theres no jumping or anything, its a clean swipe across, its just really noisy. it looks like it might rain here in a little bit, so if it does ill get back on here on exactly what it sounds like.

ok cool. check for missing teeth behind the PCB assembly for the gear that touches the worm gear.
