and i come home and while i was gone, my wife gets my front windows tinted. How sweet is that? Pics will come later today. I think it makes a TON of different in the look. Cant believe what a good $100 mod this way. Recommend it for everyone that has the "privacy glass."

i have 35% on my silver hoe and it looks really good. i believe the rear glass is 25% so 20% would be too dark and probably not look good imo. I have always been a huge fan of tinted windows it just makes the ride look so much cleaner

I've been toying with the idea. Im a bit hesitant though because I just got a ticket for having front tint on my Audi a couple months ago. I got a warning saying I had to remove it within 10 days and bring it to the sheriff's office for proof. Im worried this time I'll waste my money again and have to pay a $141 ticket.

There was a Denali for sale at a local dealer that had the darkest windows i've ever seen. I think they probably have a 5% done on top of the stock tint that comes with all of the vehicles. I couldn't even see inside the car with my face up to the glass and hands covering all light, crazy.

I would like to do this. But how is the visibility at night. Even with just 5% on my Audi, backing up and stuff like that at night was a little sketchy. Kind of just had to do it on instinct.

Yeah, I'm the same way. I had a 2002 Grand Prix GTP coupe that I put 15% on the back and 35% on the doors...still looked great but wasn't so freaky at night. I think that 5% over the factory privacy glass would look badass, but I work 4pm-2am and generally have to parallel park depending on what parking spots are available, so 5% is a no-go for me.

So here are the pics guys. And yes you are right i do have a hell of a wife. This was her idea and it was an awesome surprise. I love the look. I am not sure what the percentage is exactly, the guy just matched the back tint. The pics are a bit off because there is a tree behind my truck so the front does look a bit darker. Not bad for $100 upgrade huh? First three pics are after and the last one is before. you can really see the difference. sorry the last one is so small.

I'm interested in doing that too. I never thought doing the windshield would make all that much difference, but a friend of mine did it and it actually really does keep the car/truck cooler when you have all of the other windows tinted too. Besides, 50% isn't that dark so the safety concern is minimal.
