That is crazy i was in the same boat you are i heard he had them for sale and i jump on it i paid $175 for the 12" Kickers and some amp. I just went to a local audio store down the street and they charged me $70 to install the whole thing. That is the easy way out.

If someone only charged you $70 to install that amp and did it clean and correct, you got a good deal. I haven't paid someone to install my stereo systems in over 16 years because of how bad the installation charges were in the early 90's.

Gomez, if you can't find a reasonable installer, you could take a stab at it, depending on how comfortable you are with digging in to your ride.

You left out some vital information, though, so you may not get very many responses without giving as much info as possible, such as:

What kind of vehicle is it going in?
Do you have the stock radio in it or is it aftermarket?

If we have these 2 things we can get you in the right direction. Also, don't forget to use the search function in here as many people have posted information pertaining to this already.

Good luck.

With the stock radio, you'll need a LOC and a wiring kit for the amp (power and ground wire, remote wire, fuse/fuse holder, rca cable, and related terminals). I know the amp states 2000 watts, but it probably isn't CEA-2006 compliant either, meaning it's more than likely exaggerated. Check the size of the fuse(s) on the amp to help determine the gauge power/grd wire you'll need. Also, to make it easier to connect the power wire to the battery, you'll need to use a GM post extender, or you connect directly to the positive jumper cable terminal between the battery and engine (for amplifiers drawing less than a couple hundred amps of current).
