so today leaving awsome school! (being sarcastic) noticed a fat puddle under my awsome hoe under the differential and well nothing i could do in the parking lot i drove it 50miles home and i took off the diff cover and noticed 3 teeth missing off the ring gear then looking at the diff cover saw a hole in the middle where the tooth snapped and punctured it! not asking for tips or suggestions just venting frustration!

anyone wanna buy a tahoe LOL so now that its broken thing of addind Posi and different gears.....

i been there!!!!! MY 95 yukon did the same thing
iwas making a left turn and heard something like i rolled over something.
didn`t think much about it .

i was parked and came out the store seen a little puddle at the rear i looked
at the diff cover a hole in it. i said that what ever i rolled over put a hole
in the cover(NOT)!! took the cover off a tooth sitting at the bottom (dam)

off the pinoin gear. i was calling around for parts but talking to mech
you need to shim for the right clarences well things i couldn`t do.


well it cost me 1400.00 to get it rebuild.
