Slow Power Windows

Hi,

I have a 2001 Tahoe and both front power windows go up at a crawl. The passenger side has a newer motor and a brand new regulator and still goes slowly. I have heard using silicone spray, any other suggestions to help smooth this process? The speed does not bother me but I would prefer to not have to keep replacing motors and regulators.

Yes sray the silicone on the Window channels but if you have tinted windows that may add to the problem

pull the window motor and carefully clean the contacts on the shaft they are coper in color be carefull not to pull the motor out of the housing the springs and contacts will fall out it worked for my of the shaft screws in so take of the housing and then unsxcrww the sahft from the black plastic housing
