Silverado 2000 steering problems

My son's truck has good steering to the left and is very poor to the right. We have just replaced the power steering pump but no improvement. I have lubricated the linkages with no benefit and tested the steering assist shock-like device which seems intact. The vehicle is lifted and has oversized wheels but I doubt that is relevant.

Are there any electronic components to check? Does this sound like the rack or main mechanical portion of the steering could be bad? What about obstructed lines or valves in the mechanism?

What do you mean by very poor steering to the right? Does it require more steering effort to turn the wheel o the right than compared to the left?

steering box is faulty have replaced several for same problem

Two sensors; one on column under knees . I had resistance turning left at highway speeds . For now I just unplugged it . Not scared driving anymore. range of prices under a hundred bucks. the other sensor is located on the steering box I believe and it's called a Evo sensor.

i been having a lot of trouble outta my power steering i've already burnt up 4 pumps theres no leaks i've flushed the lines and box any ideas why it might be doin this??

check your alignment and possible play in the pitman or idler arm. or tie rod ends, ball joints etc? these things can put more stress on the steering and cause the same issue
