What's up guys?!? I have about 40,000 miles on my 06 Tahoe and I have just been routinely getting oil changes on my car. Should I be getting any other maintenance, like checking fluid levels for example at this stage? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

May want to flush the trans and radiator, new oil in the tcase (autotracII if you have fulltime or auto4x4) front and rear diffs. I would run some royal purple or schaeffers in the diffs and maybe some good ngk plugs gapped to .40 or less.

where do you go for service, do you bring it in to the dealer or do it yourself? At the dealer you can get the Maintenance I or II packages, but they are expensive, $ 100 and 150 respectively. I normally just get a oil change, lube, and tire rotation for about $35.

I usually get my oil changed every 3k at Valvoline for $25 bucks. I bring it to the Chevy dealer for brakes, flushes, just about everything else. Discount Tire does free rotations/tires on any of your vehicles if you have bought tires from them.
