Hello. I have a 2003 tahoe with a service 4wd light on and can't figure out what's wrong. It keeps blowing the fuse. I can get the 4wd to work for about a minute until the fuse blows. All lights work on the switch then While driving down the road all the lights on the switch start blinking and then the service 4wd comes back. I can put a new fuse in and then have it work again.I have tried swapping out the switches with no luck from a friends truck. And it continues to blow the fuses. Not sure what it is

Well its obvious its a short to ground try disconnecting the transfercase control module that sits behind the I/P fuse block on the left side of the instrument panel then put a new fuse in if it doesn't blow the fuse then you have a internally shorted TCC MODULE if it still blows the fuse then that power circuit is shorted to ground somewhere
