Just recently my drivers side window started making a sreeching noise when both going up and down, and that it was doing it pretty slow...also I have noticed that when driving it sounds as if though the window was loose or something within the door panel is loose.
So I had the motor replaced, but nothing has changed all of my problems are still there. The noise and the rattling sound.
It is going into the shop AGAIN...but before it does I would like to get the feed back from you guys. Maybe one of you guys has this problem or has gone through it.
Thanks in advance for any feedback.:au::confused2:

I would remove the door panel (on an '00 Tahoe one bolt at bottom, actually "underneath" the panel). Remove your switch assemblies first, they just pop out.

Clean and grease your window regulator and give it a try, that may do it, and it is not so hard to do.

I will try greasing up the regulator. What type of grease would I use? Is it something I would be able to pick up at my local auto part shop?

I used white lithium grease, good multipurpose grease, available at NAPA and all auto parts places.

Good Luck.
