Running Boards

Opinions on keeping them or taking them off....still have mine and debating on whether or not to take them off. I like the look of no boards but dont want some drunk girl(or anyone for that matter) to get in my truck expecting a step and their not being one. Would be kinda funny though. Anybody had this problem or heard someone complain about no running boards?

heres mine hooked up to a friends boat (18 ft fisher, 90 Mercury)
stock with all terrains and a K&N air filter. its a 98, runs great, probably cause i drive it like grandma everywhere

thanks man. I took the running boards off of mine and i dont know why i did not do it sooner. looks so much better. yours looks good to
