Reseting A/C Recalibration?

Mechanic disconnect the battery terminals to replace the transmission and after I got the truck A/C blower fan dosent blow from front only from top windshield I heard A/C system need to be programmed?
because was working ok after replacing transmission my A/C blower works and cold but docent blow from front vents and I am hearing the vents keep moving only blow from top windshield any idea?please
I checked maybe vacuum hose but mine docent have vacuum hose works with electronic .
please any help?

Turn your AC in manual all the way to cold, then turn the fan all the way up

Turn the AC to OFF

Disconnect battery negative cable for 10 min.

Reconnect battery

Turn AC back on to cold right away



That should reset the position of the actuators. If it doesn't, then you'll need to replace them

I have to do this steps with engine running?
