Remote Start Question

Do I need the factory remote start to have the heated seats and mirrors kick on? Or will it do that with an aftermarket system? Or does it just depend on the system? I called our local Chevy and GMC dealers and neither installs remote start. That seems bizarre.

So I guess I'll be going with one from a local mobile audio place or Best Buy. The mobile audio place doesn't open for another half hour. Looking at Best Buy's website this looks like the one I'd be most interested in...

Any remote system with aux channels will be able to turn on your heated seats, heated mirrirs, and defrost. Just make sure you find a knowledgeable and competent installer.
